(WHAS11) - The wife and daughter of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid are recovering after an accident with a semi.
Landra Reid is in serious condition after their minivan was rear-ended on Interstate 95 in Virginia Thursday night.
She suffered a broken back, neck and nose but her injuries are not life threatening.
Their daughter wasn't seriously hurt and has been released from the hospital.
The semi driver is charged with reckless driving.
