FRANKFORT, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Former Kentucky Agricultural Commissioner Richie Farmer is expected to be the subject of a federal grand jury meeting.
This is coming a month after he was charged with a record 42 ethics violations during his time in office.
The charges come from the Executive Branch Ethics Commission and they are accusing Farmer of misusing government money and state employees by having them run personal errands like chauffeuring his dog.
The former UK basketball star could also be indicted on federal criminal charges.
The US Attorney's office declined to comment.
