NORTH CAROLINA (whas11) -- New numbers out show the U.S. Senate leader from Kentucky is the most disliked politician.
A democratic-leaning firm in North Carolina did the poll and according to the numbers, Mitch McConnell is the worst senator nationally and in Kentucky. Thirty-seven percent of those polled in Kentucky approve of his performance.
The same poll found actress Ashley Judd would be the top choice of Democratic primary voters and would trail McConnell by just four points in a hypothetical match-up - that's less than Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer who would trail by five.
