WASHINGTON (AP) -- Just over a month since the massacre of 20 children at a Connecticut elementary school, President Barack Obama is expected tomorrow to unveil steps he plans to take to limit gun violence.
Congressional officials say Obama is considering 19 moves he could make through executive action alone, since there's powerful opposition in Congress to sweeping gun regulations.
The steps could include stricter action against people who lie on gun sale background checks. And there could be tougher penalties against gun trafficking. Schools could also be given flexibility to use grant money to improve safety.
