FRANKFORT, Ky. (WHAS11) -- We're just three weeks away from when the affordable health care act kicks in.
But on Thursday, Sept. 12, Senator Mitch McConnell made a move to delay the health care law's individual mandate for another year.
McConnell submitted an amendment into an energy bill under consideration by the senate.
A spokesman for Senator McConnell says he has offered this amendment before and that he will continue to push for it.
The house already passed similar legislation to delay the health coverage mandates.
