New congressional legislation is hoping to not have a repeat of the August 4th flash floods.

Congressman Baron Hill has introduced legislation that would allow federal disaster aid to go to a state bordering another state that received that aid.

The bill includes damage stipulations.

You may remember that while Kentucky qualified for FEMA assistance in August, Indiana did not.
