Hobby Lobby requests health care exemption

(WHAS11) -- Craft store Hobby Lobby went before a federal court asking that it be exempted from the federal health care law.

The Oklahoma City based chain argues it shouldn't be required to offer coverage that includes access to the morning after pill because it violates the owner's religious beliefs.

Lower courts have rejected Hobby Lobby's claim, saying secular for-profit companies aren't exempt from the requirement.
