BULLITT COUNTY, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A new ordinance will allow people to have drinks on Sundays at local, small farm wineries.
The Bullitt Fiscal Court voted 4-1 on the decision.
Under the new ordinance, facilities certified as small farm wineries will be able to sell their product by the drink on Sundays as well as beer.
The sales would be permitted from noon until 6 p.m.
Right now, there are four wineries in Bullitt County and six wineries in the state of Kentucky.
