LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Lt. Governor Jerry Abramson said he will not run for Senate.
Abramson appeared on Great day Live Tuesday morning and said he is not going to challenge Mitch McConnell for the U.S. Senate seat. However, he didn’t rule out the possibility of running for governor.
There has been a lot of speculation about who could challenge McConnell. Some political watchers are encouraging actress and Kentucky native Ashley Judd to run.
