LIMA, Ohio (AP) — An Ohio prison guard has been put back on the job after authorities looked into claims of an assault involving two inmates.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol looked into allegations that the guard put a handcuffed inmate inside a segregation cell with another inmate who raped him.
A patrol spokeswoman tells The Lima (LY'-muh) News (http://bit.ly/XBoORg ) that the investigation found one inmate was in handcuffs but found no evidence of that anyone was assaulted.
A grand jury decided against bringing any charges in the case.
The incident that was investigated was said to have happened in mid-January at the Allen Oakwood Correctional Facility near Lima.
