Paddlers with a Purpose organization brings recreation to those with limited mobility

Paddlers with a Purpose needs your help

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The Elizabethtown Paddlers Association is a nonprofit group of over 1,200 canoe, kayak and paddle board enthusiasts who enjoy and promote the recreational benefits of paddling activities.

The Paddlers with a Purpose Project for Wounded Warriors, veterans and those with limited mobility challenges has grown tremendously thanks to community support and now the first handicap accessible kayak and canoe ramp in the state is up and running at Freeman Lake.

Members of the organization stopped by Good Morning Kentuckiana with Tabnie Dozier and discussed the new efforts in the works. For more information, click here
