Alaska mom Jolene Jackinsky spotted Obama in a waiting area for private flights at Anchorage International Airport and thought, “Oh my God, it is Obama,” the Associated Press reported.
Seeing baby Giselle, “Obama asked, ‘Who is this pretty girl?’”
Obama held Giselle as they chatted about how fast children grow, and when Giselle’s father approached, Obama joked, “I’m taking your baby,” Jackinsky said.
Obama was on his way home from Seoul, South Korea, and Jakarta, Indonesia, where he met with the countries’ leaders. He also spoke at the Asian Leadership Conference in South Korea and the Fourth Congress of the Indonesian Diaspora convention.
Jackinsky snapped pictures of the president with Giselle.
‘‘I think it’s unreal and pretty exciting that I get to have a picture with him and my baby,’’ she said, according to AP. ‘‘Not a lot of people get to meet him.’’
