LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – The U.S. Postal Service marked Veteran’s Day with a special dedication to veterans with a new stamp.

The World War II Forever Stamp was unveiled at the National World War II Memorial with two of the 8 living World War II Medal of Honor recipients in place.

The two stamps will highlight historical photographs of those living World War II veterans.

More than 16 million Americans served in the Armed Forces during World War II and 464 received the prestigious honor.
