(WHAS11) -- This Valentine's Day you may want to think chores instead of chocolates for your loved one.
A study by Procter & Gamble found that helping out with cleaning or cooking a meal can do more for a relationship than "one-shot acts" such as buying a gift.
More than half of Americans, 56 percent, would rather show their love through everyday activities. Twenty-eight percent said by making their loved ones a home-cooked meal, 13 percent said offering to look after the children to give their partner some ‘me’ time and 12 percent said cleaning the house.
