(WHAS11) -- Starbucks Coffee may refresh you in more ways than one. They may now be getting into the detergent business.
Scientists in Hong Kong are testing out a process called "Biorefinery."
It recycles old coffee grinds and baked goods into things such as detergent and plastic.
The idea was presented at the recent national meeting and Exposition of the American Chemical Society.
Scientists from Hong Kong's City University are working with Starbucks Hong Kong on the project.
