SEASIDE HEIGHTS, N.J.  (WHAS11) -- The famed Atlantic City boardwalk suffered major damage and the Seaside Heights amusement park is underwater.

A lot of people are wondering what impact Sandy will have on next week's presidential election. New Jersey Governor Chris Christie -- is not one of them.

"So, I don't give a damn about Election Day. It doesn't matter a lick to me. At the moment, I've got much bigger fish to fry, so do the people of the state of New Jersey," Gov. Chris Christie, (R)New Jersey, said.

Christie says right now, there are nearly 2.5 million people without power in New Jersey and he doesn't know how long it'll be before the power is restored.
