LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- President Obama said on Thursday, no US combat troops will fight again in Iraq.
The administration announced it will send advisers and members of the Special Forces to advise and assist the Iraqi forces.
In his news conference, the president said we don't have the ability to solve the problem simply by sending troops.
Militants continue to advance in Iraq, capturing major cities and executing Iraqi security forces.
