(WHAS) -- Incredible new research shows around 60 billion planets in the Milky Way Galaxy could be capable of supporting life.
The recently published study by the University of Chicago and Northwestern University looks at how cloud cover stabilizes the weather on planets.
After running simulations the researchers said they found the number of habitable planets is nearly double what they previously thought.
However, researchers said this conclusion only goes for alien life. As far as humans are concerned, there is still only one known planet that can sustain human life.
