TORONTO (WHAS11) -- A well-dressed monkey caused quite a scene outside a Toronto Ikea store.
The 7-month-old monkey escaped from its crate inside a vehicle in the parking lot. Dressed in a wool coat and diaper-- the monkey scared shoppers before he was captured by animal control.
The owner is now charged with owning a prohibited animal. The monkey remains with animal control officials as of Monday night.
