HOUSTON (WHAS11) – Former President George H.W. Bush’s health has improved and he’s no longer in the intensive care unit.
A spokesperson for the 88-year-old said he’s been moved from the ICU to a regular patient room at Houston’s Methodist Hospital.
Bush has been in the hospital since November battling bronchitis and a cough.
He was preparing to go home right before Christmas until he developed a fever along with other complications.
