'False-color' image shows Mercury like never before seen

(WHAS11) -- A side of Mercury you've probably never seen as NASA and Johns Hopkins University releases a “false-color” image of the Red Planet.

Astronomers said the false-color picture illustrates the different chemicals and minerals that make up the planet that orbits closest to the sun.
