VEEDERSBURG, Ind. (AP) — A quiet western Indiana has been horrified by accusations that a baby sitter and her boyfriend videotaped themselves molesting young children in their care.
Twenty-six-year-old Samantha Light has pleaded guilty to child molesting and will be sentenced in circuit court next week. One parent says she was known for being trustworthy and from a respected family.
Her 32-year-old boyfriend, Stephen E. Quick II, is discussing a plea agreement on similar charges.
Light and Quick have been jailed since March, when they were arrested on charges of molesting and videotaping sex acts with at least four young children in their care, including two under the age of two.
Attorneys for the suspects have declined to comment.
