Facebook creates dual-class stock structure

NEW YORK (AP) — Facebook has created a dual-class stock structure designed to give existing shareholders control over the company.

The social network says the move announced Tuesday shouldn't be seen as a sign that it's planning to go public.

But it may well be taken that way. That is what Google's founders did to keep voting control over that company before it went public in 2004.
