(WHAS 11) -- Three teenagers are safe after being rescued from a frozen lake in Northern Arizona.
Crews helped two teens from the dead tree they were hanging onto in the middle of the lake.
Rescuers say the teens were hanging onto the dead tree for more than two hours, without their shoes, because those were stuck to the ice.
The other teen made it to a snow covered bank.
All three teens were treated for mild hypothermia and thanked firefighters for rescuing them.
