MURRAY, Ky. (AP) — A playhouse in Murray, Kentucky, is seeking both physical and monetary donations to help replace items it lost when its storage room recently burned.

According to the Murray Ledger & Times (http://bit.ly/1o1Wbrf), the items were located in a large room in the building where Thurman Campbell Group is located.

Playhouse in the Park executive director Lisa Cope said the facility had been Playhouse's main storage space for 25 years.

The directors and crew met the night after last month's fire to discuss what would be needed to get through the rest of the 2014 season.

A list of items can be found at www.playhouseinthepark.net .

Playhouse board vice president Angie Hatton said the public can also donate money for props and costumes at redbasket.org.

She said the site is owned and run by her employer, Woodmen of the World.

"As part of its community outreach mission, Woodmen of the World funds the operation costs of the website, so all the money raised goes to the people or organization that needs it," Hatton said. "There is only one other crowd funding site that I know of that does that."
