SOMERSET, Ky. (AP) — The body of a Kentucky teenager who drowned in Lake Cumberland has been recovered.

Officials told multiple media outlets that 18-year-old Tobias Napier of Somerset went to the lake Sunday with friends and slipped off the edge of the Slate Branch Boat Ramp.

Rescuers found his body more than 60 feet below the surface of the lake.

Officials call what happened to Napier an accident. At this time, there's no reason to believe drugs or alcohol played a role in his death.

The family says they'll need help with funeral expenses. Southern Oaks Funeral Home in Somerset is accepting donations on their behalf.
