LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) — Lexington officials say more than 4,000 people have participated in an online survey to let leaders know what they would like to see inside a newly designed Rupp Arena.

Mayor Jim Gray said Monday that fans who take the survey by Wednesday morning could win free tickets to that night's men's basketball game.

Officials said anyone who has taken the survey and entered a valid email address has been entered into the contest. The online survey went live less than a week ago.

Officials will also collect input in person Wednesday evening at the Hyatt Regency ballroom.

Gray told the Lexington Herald-Leader (http://bit.ly/19aHQ6l) that officials hope to reinvigorate downtown with a reinvented Rupp Arena, and they want to get as much input as possible.

"The project to reinvent Rupp Arena is a game-changer for Lexington, so it's important that we hear from as many people as possible about what kinds of changes they'd like to see," Gray said.

The city chose a firm last year to design the Rupp Arena renovation and the new Lexington Convention Center.
