BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (AP) — Police say a child has died after a home caught fire in south-central Kentucky.
State police told WBKO-TV that several fire departments responded to the blaze early Tuesday at a home in Bowling Green.
Warren County Rescue Department spokeswoman Deborah Williams told the Daily News that 7-year-old Ethan Miller died in the blaze. She said the boy is the son of Charles Miller, a volunteer captain for the rescue agency.
Warren County Deputy Coroner David M. Goens said Miller, his wife, Heather, two children and another male in the home were taken to a local hospital.
Police said they are working with the State Fire Marshal's Office to determine the cause of the blaze.
