GRAHAM, Ky. (AP) — Kentucky State Police say a couple found dead inside a Muhlenberg home each committed suicide, but did not leave a note behind.
Trooper Stu Recke told the Owensboro Messenger-Inquirer (http://bit.ly/1etvapT ) that 47-year-old Dune and his wife, 35-year-old Yolanda Dune of Graham each had self-inflicted gunshot wounds. Recke says Dune had no legal first name.
Troopers were called to the couple's home on Kentucky 175 in Graham Tuesday afternoon to conduct a welfare check. Upon arrival, troopers found both people dead.
Dune and Yolanda Dune were examined Wednesday morning at the state medical examiner's office in Madisonville. Recke said neighbors told investigators the couple had lived at the home for about three years.
The incident is still under investigation.
