HYDEN, Ky. (AP) — A man who walked away from an eastern Kentucky jail this spring has been recaptured.
The Leslie County Sheriff's Department told WYMT-TV (http://bit.ly/17Nnc75) that 26-year-old Ricky Hendrix was caught about 4 a.m. ET Saturday at a local residence.
Hendrix was originally booked into the Leslie County Detention Center in April on charges including burglary and manufacturing methamphetamine. He escaped from the facility in May.
Officials say he's now back behind bars.
