Regents to vote on NKU tuition increases

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. (AP) — Regents at Northern Kentucky University are set to vote on proposed tuition increases.

The Kentucky Enquirer reports (bit.ly/Yu8Whm) that the proposal under consideration would mean in-state students would pay $108 more per semester this fall for a total of $4,044. Tuition would remain stable at $6,276 per semester for residents of Ohio and Indiana. Residents from other states would pay $216 more per semester for a total of $8,088.

Regents are scheduled to vote Wednesday on the proposed changes.

The Council on Postsecondary Education capped tuition increases for the fall at 3 percent.
