SOMERSET, Ky. (AP) — Police in Somerset say a man who churchgoers came to help knocked down an elderly man with his car.

The incident at St. Mildred Roman Catholic Church occurred Monday after a woman told Orville Stein a man in the parking lot appeared to be having a seizure in his car.

The Commonwealth Journal (http://bit.ly/Yxszn7 ) reported the 84-year-old Stein discovered the man was huffing an inhalant from a bag.

Police said the man put the car into reverse and knocked down Stein with the open car door, striking another vehicle as he fled. Stein was treated at the scene for an injury to his head, but didn't go to a hospital.
