HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. (AP) — Two fugitives who escaped from a Lexington prison have been captured in Cincinnati.
The Kentucky Enquirer (http://bit.ly/VyNYsW ) reported police found 38-year-old Donnie Johnson sitting in a stolen car, parked in the driveway of a house. Officers arrested 48-year-old Willard Wilson inside the house Saturday afternoon.
Police were called by a person who knew Johnson and Wilson had escaped from the Blackburn Correctional Complex. They had been on the run since Jan. 28.
Both were charged with felony escape. Johnson is also charged with receiving stolen merchandise. They're held at the Hamilton County Justice Center in Cincinnati.
Wilson was serving a burglary sentence and Johnson was in prison for robbery.
