LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Snow has covered a large portion of Kentucky and the National Weather Service is forecasting more accumulations throughout the day and overnight in many areas.
A winter weather advisory was issued on Saturday for much of the state and continues into Sunday morning. The weather service says snowfall totals for much of central, southern and northern Kentucky will range from 2-4 inches, but areas of eastern Kentucky could get up to 6 inches in higher elevations.
Motorists are advised to use caution as roads were expected to become slick and heavy snowfall at times could reduce visibility.
