LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) — Authorities are investigating a shooting that claimed the life of a Lincoln County High School sophomore.
According to WKYT-TV (http://bit.ly/YzgSyH), 16-year-old Cody Mesaris was accidentally shot Friday on Kentucky 12-47 in Waynesburg. No further details about the shooting have been released.
However, the Lincoln County coroner said no foul play is suspected.
Funeral services for Mesaris are set for Monday.
