LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — The dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Louisville is stepping down.
J. Blaine Hudson, who has served as dean since 2004, has been on a leave of absence for medical reasons since August. The Courier-Journal reports (http://cjky.it/Uunrg8 ) that Hudson plans to return to the faculty in 2014
Hudson taught history and Pan-African studies classes for years while serving in various administrative posts. He was Pan-African studies department chair from 1998 to 2003 and was an associate A&S dean from 1999 to 2004.
