MANCHESTER, Ky. (AP) — An eastern Kentucky coroner says a burned body found along a dirt road has been identified.
WYMT-TV (http://bit.ly/Tchcy7 ) in Hazard reported the victim was Eli Marcum, who had been reported missing. Dental records were used to make positive identification. Marcum's body was discovered on Saturday in the Crawfish community of Clay County.
No arrests have been made in the case.
Two days earlier, also in Clay County, the body of 74-year-old Earl Woods was found in his home. He had apparently been beaten to death.
Sheriff's investigators charged Woods' next door neighbors Wednesday night.
Joshua Morsch and his girlfriend were arrested in what authorities believe was a fight that erupted over prescription pills.
