GRAY, Ky. (AP) — A former Knox County postal worker is accused of stealing mail containing movies and prescription drugs.

WYMT-TV reports (http://bit.ly/UFjSCs) Arnold Bingham was indicted last week in federal court.

The investigation started in February when postal inspectors received complaints of missing parcels from the Veteran's Administration.

Veteran Michael Spradlin told the station all his medication is shipped from the VA in Lexington to the Gray post office. He said the packages were traced to the post office, but his medicine was never there.

Bingham is also accused of stealing DVDs from Netflix and Blockbuster.

Officials said Bingham no longer works for the postal service.

He will be arraigned on Dec. 3 and faces up to five years in prison if convicted.

No number was listed for Bingham in the phone directory.
