SPOKANE -- Police are investigating a stabbing that happened near Third and Wall in Downtown Spokane, Washington.
They found a man at an apartment complex around 9:20 p.m. Friday. They got a call that he had been stabbed in the buttocks. Police said the 51-year-old man went to the hospital with a four inch deep gash. Police said he lost a lot of blood and was going in and out of consciousness before an ambulance arrived.
The victim told police he was stabbed by a white man wearing all black. Police said they did find a man fitting that description and questioned him. However, police have not said if that is the suspect.
Police said they do believe the attack may have been a robbery because the victim said the suspect took his beer.
