LAKE PLACID, N.Y. (AP) — Ireland's Darragh Kenny won the Whiteface Mountain Open Jumper Stake on Wednesday at the Lake Placid Horse Show.
Kenny, riding Sandor De La Pomme, finished in 34.749 seconds in a jump-off round over seven obstacles.
Debbie Stephens, from Palmetto, Fla., was second on Swagger in 36.508 seconds, and Michael Dorman of Jamison, Pa., finished third in 38.623 on Seventh Fee.
Six riders, including Stephens, turned in fault-free first-round efforts.
The Lake Placid Horse Show ends Sunday.
