FORNEY, Texas – George Zimmerman was stopped by police in a small north Texas town Sunday.
Zimmerman, who was acquitted earlier this month in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin, was stopped for speeding.
He immediately told the officer he had a gun in the glove compartment.
When asked where he was heading, Zimmerman said "nowhere in particular," according to inForney.com.
The officer apparently didn’t recognize Zimmerman until he asked, "You didn’t see my name?"
The cop checked Zimmerman’s record for outstanding warrants and when they came back clear, he let him go with a warning.
