Muhlenberg County Constable accused of accepting bribe to assist inmate's escape

(WHAS11 News) - On December 8, Kentucky State Police arrested Constable Willie Parker on bribery charges.

According to reports, a Greenville inmate, Anthony White, escaped in June 2017 while being transported by Constable Parker from the Muhlenberg County Detention Center. Officers said they were able to determine Constable Parker had agreed to accept a bribe from the inmate's girlfriend, Kelly Dooley, to assist in the inmate's escape.

Constable Parker was arrested and is being lodged in the Muhlenberg County Detention Center. White and Dooley were already incarcerated at the time of indictment.
