LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS 11)--Metro Council will interview the 14 candidates who applied to fill Dan Johnson's spot.
Johnson was removed from his position as a councilman in November.
A committee found he violated an agreement to keep his seat after he was accused of sexual misconduct.
Interviews will start at 4 p.m. Dec.11.
Metro Council President David Yates has said that he plans to call for a vote on filling the vacant seat during the council's Dec.7 meeting.
The council has to fill the seat by Dec. 14.
EDITOR'S NOTE: This article was edited to say there are 14 candidates to be interviewed instead of 19. The date that the council has to fill the seat by is Dec. 14 and not the 18, as originally reported.
