LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – The city of West Buechel is still trying to sort out their money woes.
During Tuesday evening’s city council meeting, councilmember Tony Clark raised questions about their accounts and money he says is unaccounted for.
Clark believes there is $270,000 of city funds they can’t account for.
He says he isn’t sure if it’s a bookkeeping error or if the money is truly missing.
The city is sorting it out but it comes after a scathing audit from the Kentucky Auditor’s office that called for better records from the small city located near Bardstown Road.
