LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – New plans announced Nov. 15 would mean more opportunities to help at-risk youth in Kentucky.
Centerstone and Uspiritus have signed a letter of intent to merge. It’s a move that would combine one of the largest behavioral health organizations in the state with a residential service provider for young people. Under the proposed merger, Uspiritus would change its name to Centerstone.
In a news release, the organizations said they will be able to enhance access to behavioral health treatments, housing assistance, education and job training to youth and families across the region.
The deal is expected to conclude in spring of 2018.
