LOUISVILLE (WHAS11) -- A student at Waggener High School could face criminal charges after officials say they created a list of the students and staff they wanted to harm.
According to a letter sent home to parents, the school immediately notified JCPS Security and Investigations Unit and the St. Matthews Police Department.
The police department determined the threat was not credible.
The principal of Waggener High School says the student involved is being punished by JCPS, and law enforcement agencies.
