(WHAS11) - Officers are investigating two separate crime scenes that ended up literally at Byck Elementary School in the west end.
Quite a shock for parents this afternoon to have a homicide so close to students Wednesday.

Police made an arrest but say the man is not considered a suspect in this homicide.
Even before students arrived this morning, commonwealth workers water-blasted Byck elementary school after a car crashed into their building right next to the playground.
As students showed up for class Troy Logsdon says he's still concerned, three of his kids go to this school.
Police are investigating not only the crash but also who killed the driver.
LMPD found the body of a man in his 20's shot dead in his car Wednesday after school.
Officers say the man drove straight through a fence at 24th and Cedar Street, ramming into Byck Elementary.
Police arrested 25-year-old Eddie Price near the scene but he is not considered a person of interest.
