Local chef creates menu for inauguration celebration in D.C.

(WHAS11) -It’s a celebration happening the night before President-Elect Barack Obama is sworn-in, with a taste of the bluegrass.
It’s called the Bluegrass Ball, and it is held in Washington D.C.
The chef in charge is Michael Paley of Proof on Main located on West Main Street.
He says he has been preparing for the ball for months.
On the menu, you will find foods from around Kentucky: bison, grits, and country ham.
Paley says he is very excited and is now putting the finishing touches on the dinner.
