Metro Police officer suffers minor injuries after crash with alleged drunk driver

(WHAS11) -A Metro Police officer suffered minor injuries Thursday night in a crash at Fourth and Oak.
It happened around 7:30 p.m.
Police say an intoxicated driver was on Fourth with no headlights on, when the officer pulled out of a parking lot and the two collided.
The officer received minor injuries but was taken to the hospital for observation.
The driver of the other car is charged with DUI.
