05:05 PM EDT on Thursday, October 30, 2008
(WHAS11) - There was a major animal rescue Tuesday in Breckinridge County after officials found a woman hoarding dozens of dogs and cats.
The hoarding is so large that the Humane Society of the United States helped out.
Just outside Hardinsburg in a series of houses they found them.
Dogs were found in every room, collected by local resident Barbara Bruber.
There were so many animals that the Humane Society of the United States came in with its huge rescue trailer to help the Breckinridge County Animal Shelter and Floyd County Rescue League.
WHAS11’s Chuck Olmstead was there and has more on the story.
